Road and Bridge Closures

From May 11-12 participants from all areas will be in our great city to take part in this amazing event. The Fredericton Marathon volunteer organizing committee would like to thank Fredericton residents for their continued support.

Please take note of the bridge and road closures as well as traffic changes planned for May 11-12, with possible delays over the two-day period:

Cash Awards

The Fredericton Marathon offers cash awards for breaking the 10k, marathon and half marathon race records. The cash awards for the male and female race records start at $250 for the full marathon and increases by $25 for every year it is not broken to a maximum of $500. For the 1/2 marathon, it starts at $125 and increases by $25 for every year it is not broken to a maximum of $250. For the 10k race, the male and female race records start at $100 and increases by $20 for every year it is not broken to a maximum of $200. Below are the current cash awards for breaking a race record in 2024.
