The King Street Pharmacy Run for The Shelters presented by Fredericton Marathon is an untimed event designed to support the Fredericton Homeless Shelters and its mission to restore human dignity to those who are experiencing homelessness.
Registration is a minimum donation of $25 to The Shelters plus processing fees. Your registration fee will go directly to Fredericton Homeless Shelters Inc., with your registration information shared for tax receipt purposes only.
**The first 200 registered participants will receive a commemorative swag item**
This event features the 3k, the 5k and the 8k out-and-back runs/walks along the city’s riverfront trail system to and from Carleton Park, near Picaroons Roundhouse.
Runners or walkers will start at 9:30 am on Sunday, November 23rd along the trail system in Carleton Park, near Picaroons Roundhouse. Race kit pick-up will be held at Picaroons Roundhouse on Saturday, November 22 between 2 pm and 4 pm and between 7:30 am and 9:15 am on race day Sunday, November 23rd.
RACE DAY Registration is available, although we urge you to register ahead of the day of the event!

Pam Doak Exit Realty 8k
The Pam Doak Exit Realty 8k
Starting at Picaroons Roundhouse, 8k participants will run/walk along the trail parallel to Union Street towards Gibson Street then around the trail back heading to the Bill Thorpe Walking Bridge. Participants cross the bridge and follow the South Riverfront trail along the Saint John River to the turnaround point by the Delta Marriott pool. Participants turn around and head back the way they came to the finish line located at Picaroons Roundhouse.
Bringloe Feeney 5k and Volvo Cars 3k
Bringloe Feeney 5k
5k participants will start at Picaroons Roundhouse back heading to the Bill Thorpe Walking Bridge. Participants cross the bridge and follow the South Riverfront trail along the Saint John River to the turnaround point past the Westmorland Street Bridge. Participants turn around and head back the way they came to the finish line located at Picaroons Roundhouse.
Volvo Cars New Brunswick 3k
3k participants will start at Picaroons Roundhouse back heading to the Bill Thorpe Walking Bridge. Participants cross the bridge and follow the South Riverfront trail along the Saint John River to the turnaround located past the Crowne Plaza Hotel and before the 540 Lighthouse. Participants turn around and head back the way they came to the finish line located at Picaroons Roundhouse.
